Your privacy matters here. This page explains what personal data LissC Studio collects, why it is collected, how it is used, and what rights you have.

At the time personal data is collected, people must be informed clearly about who is collecting it, why it is being used, what categories of data are involved, the legal basis, how long it is kept, who may receive it, and what rights they have, including the right to withdraw consent and lodge a complaint.

2.2 What data may be collected?

Depending on how you interact with the site, LissC Studio may collect:

For digital direct marketing by email, the Dutch AP states that the main rule is that an organisation may only send it if it has the recipient’s consent.

2.5 Newsletter, waitlist, and free downloads

If you subscribe to the LissC Studio journal, join a waitlist, or request a free guide or checklist, your email address and any information you submit are used to:

• send the requested material
• send occasional related updates, essays, launch notices, and selected offers
• measure email performance and improve future communications

The AP’s guidance says consent is the main rule for digital direct marketing by email, and the European Commission says individuals must be told that they may withdraw consent at any time.

2.6 Who may receive your data?

Your data may be processed by trusted service providers that support the website or communications, such as:

• website hosting providers
• email marketing or CRM platforms
• analytics or form providers
• payment providers, if digital products are sold later

These providers act on behalf of LissC Studio where applicable.

The GDPR information requirements include informing people who else may receive their data and whether data may be transferred outside the EU.

2.8 How long is data kept?

LissC Studio keeps personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required by law or needed for administration, legal, or tax purposes.

Newsletter and waitlist data is generally kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion, unless there is a lawful reason to retain limited records.

Individuals must be informed about retention, and organisations should not keep personal data longer than necessary.

The European Commission lists these as core GDPR rights, and the AP also states that people must be informed of their rights.

2.10 Cookies and analytics

If the website uses analytics, cookies, or similar tools, LissC Studio may collect limited technical information to understand how the site is used and improve performance.

Where required, cookie information or consent should be handled separately through the site’s cookie setup.

The AP notes that functional cookies generally do not require consent, but website owners must still inform users.
